Depending on the extent of your gum alteration, your pain will vary. Usually, patients are medicated during the procedure, banishing any discomfort and making you feel at ease. Your gums will likely feel very sensitive following the procedure, meaning your diet should be restricted to soft foods for the first few days to avoid irritation.
